You can also increase slightly if you are prone to kidney stones. Excess fluid can overwork the bladder and cause it to leak. You should try to urinate regularly. If you need to urinate then do so. Don’t try to avoid the urge. Doing so can further weaken the muscles and make the problem worse. If you are over weight then try to slim down. Those that are overweight can loose muscle tone. Weak muscles can lead to further bladder control problems. Make all attempts to maintain proper hygiene. This will make you feel better, lessen the chances of skin irritation and keep the odors to a minimum. You may also want to try to wear absorbent under clothing. This will help you maintain your current level of activity without having to worry about accidents. If you have bladder control problems then the first thing you need to do is consult your doctor. They will put you on the best treatment regime for you. There are however several things that you can do to make your life and condition better. Empowering yourself can make you feel better about you and what you are going through.
