Another option is the composite wood blinds. These are again far more durable than real wood blinds, being able to withstand humidity and varying temperatures much better. Since composite wood blinds are made by combining PVC and hardwood pulp, they offer the durability of the PVC with the natural look and elegance of hardwood.  Composite wood blinds are produced from a majority of recycled materials and hence are one of the most environmentally safe.
