- First of all, boil the water for your stock in a kettle and set another pot with little water on the stove at highest temperature. The aim is to have the water at boiling point when the procedure starts.
- Now, choose one or two ingredients for preparations. Try to choose ingredients that don’t require any peeling like tomatoes or mushrooms for a fast cooking.
- Then, slice the chosen vegetables and cut them in small cubes for a faster cooking.

- Now, cook the vegetables until they are soft. Cooking will be over in about 10 minutes. Check when done and serve hot.
Pasta with Sauce, Salad & Frozen Vegetables:
- For those of you who are in a real hurry, cooking 3 minutes noodles with a sauce is the best deal if they are healthy enough.
- Just keep in mind that vegetables will taste good when combined in a sauce. So, make sure to have enough tomatoes to cook the sauce for your pasta dish. Also, include healthy vegetables like legumes and even low-fat cheese to make your pasta healthy as well as tasty.
- Go for easy to use canned vegetables and fry chopped onions in a little olive oil until it is golden brown, now add two cans of tomato puree and a can of sliced mushrooms or peas.
- Now, sauté the mixture and add a seasoning of salt, oregano and black pepper.
- You can also use frozen vegetables that are also available in a mixed form. Just cook them reading the instructions given on the can and add the desired seasoning as per your choice. The best thing about frozen vegetables is that they can be used straight away from the freezer and saves a lot of time in cutting and peeling of.
- Cooking the vegetables will take approximately the same time that will be required for cooking the pasta.
- Apart from the pasta, you can prepare a healthy salad as a quick meal. Just take some cucumbers, slice them and add red or yellow pepper with red tomatoes. Add, chopped nuts and grated cheese for additional taste.
