Stretching Before & After Jogging Session

Before starting your jogging session, you should also make it a point to perform stretching. Also once you have finished your jogging run, you should end it with stretching. It is advisable to stretch for at least 2 minutes before and for at least 4 minutes after a jogging session and do the following

  • First of all, bend forward and try to touch the toes.
  • Then, kneel down on one foot and try to stretch the other foot backwards.
  • Also, stretch your arms and try to grab them from behind your back.
  • Bending the body on both the sides is another stretching exercise.

To enjoy the maximum pleasure and benefits out of jogging don’t forget to wear the proper jogging shoes and clothes. Choose your jogging clothes depending upon the weather; if it is a hot weather, then go for shorts and T-shirts and in winters go for track suites.
