Convert Video Into PSP
PSPs are too common nowadays and every now and then you find people who get their PSP and are pleased playing it all the time. Gaming has also dominated nowadays, but people are so lazy that they don’t even want to play games themselves and prefer watching movies all the time. It would be very nice to sit and watch the movies any time you want, if you possess a device that does so. But, one of the biggest disadvantages that the PSPs have is that they cannot play formats like ‘.AVI’ and ‘.DIVX’. And few of them know how to convert these videos in PSP format. Well, here is a solution to convert these formats to PSPs.

The solution:
•    DVD ripper
•    USB data cable
•    PC
•    3GP Converter
•    Memory Stick loaded into PSP.
•    PSP Firmware Version 1.5.

Steps to perform the conversion:
(
1) Attach the PSP to your pc using the USB data cable. Now you can find the PSP as one of the removable drive in My Computer.

(2) Now rip movie (“.AVI” or “.DIVX”) from your DVD to any of other drives.

(3) Use the 3GP converter, and set the different options available like “MP4 for PSP” format, frame rate settings required bit rate, etc. as per your requirements, and then select the video you want to convert, and also provide a path where you want to save the converted video.

(4) Now wait because it will take some time to convert your videos. In the meantime create folder named “MP_ROOT” in the PSP drive publicized. Then inside the “MP_ROOT” folder create a new folder if there is no folder with the name “100MNV01”, apologetic for such a strange folder name, but SONY PSP requires you to do so…..

(5) Check whether the converter has finished the operation of converting the video files to PSP MP4 format. If it is so, go to the place where your requested files are to be converted. You will see a strange file named something like “M4V0123.MP4.”

(6) After that you need to copy that file in to the folder that we have created earlier in step 4 inside the PSP drive.

(7) After following the above steps, the last step is to detach PSP from the pc.

That’s it, in this way you can convert your Videos into PSP format, and happily watch them anytime anywhere.
