As breads contain wheat or gluten allergy, bread and products made with bread are generally off limits. In addition to having food that comes without any wheat ingredients, people suffering from this disease will also need to make a habit of reading the product label and check if ingredients contain wheat or not. While ingredients mentioned in a product can be easily filtered off, not all ingredients in every product are mentioned and this would need you to have a preset list of tested products that are meant to be used by people with wheat or gluten allergy.

People who suffer from a wheat allergy should stay away from wheat and wheat products like wheat flour, and bread made from wheat. These people can use bread made from rye or barley if their gluten tolerance is high.
People suffering from a condition usually known as coeliac disease have sensitivity to protein called gluten and thus this disease is also known as gluten disease by many. If you have coeliac disease, you will have difficulty in choosing which food product to use. Only a trained eye in identifying an ingredient can tell if something is actually gluten or not.
If you are someone who is suffering from gluten allergy, it would be very difficult for you to recognize ingredients and find out if a product contains gluten so that you can decide upon using it. While it is not a fool proof method, some of the ingredients that can indicate or even give a mild idea of the presence of gluten in a product are semolina wheat, wheat germ, seitan, and breadcrumbs along with couscous, wheat barn and cereal extract among others. A lookout for bread like products and products with a mention of wheat can be avoided easily to stay safe from gluten allergy.
While you can filter out some ingredients by reading labels, other products may also have gluten ingredients that are not that obvious. Flavoring is a foremost contender for this space, almost unnoticeable, natural flavoring contains gluten and this may not be mentioned on the product label. The presence of ketchup and other sauce also confirms the fact that this product contains gluten and so does of the presence of modified starch, vegetable oil and vegetable gum.
Although not eating something that you have never tried before is a safer bet, people can get adventurous sometimes and may try out different products. If you really want to try a new food product, jot down the ingredients and ask your doctor for any advice he/she may be able to provide you with.
