Golf Drivers: Why You Should Have More Than One
Golf Drivers: Why You Should Have More Than One
Not all golf courses are created equal. So therefore not all drivers are meant to be used on every course. It is never a bad idea to have more than one driver in your bag. You do not need to take all of your drivers to every round of golf that you go to shoot, but it is not a bad idea to have different options to take with you on the course so you are prepared for the different things that you may encounter.
Consider The Course Distance
If the length of the holes is shorter you are of course going to want to carry your driver that has more of a loft to it so you can get the ball closer to the pin and not overshoot your target. Consider the face and the angle at which it is designed when you are heading out to the links. You want to get the most out of your driver this is true, however this does not always mean the longest distance, but getting the ball closest to the target. So be sure to look at what you are getting into before you head out to the course so as to have the most success while you are out there.
Try to find the club that works best for you. Sometimes it is just a matter of feeling like one club is working better for you at a certain time. Or it could be that you need a driver that is longer during certain times of the year. Everyone has certain quirks that are attached to their game it is a matter of finding what works best for you and finding the right driver for the right time. Every club has a different feel from every manufacturer so try to find what is best by trial and error and determining which one will work best fro you based on the weather as well as the course speed. You need to take into account all aspects of the round when you do settle on a driver so you are able to be the most successful.
The only way to find out what works best for you on the course is through trial and error, so do not be afraid to try a new driver to see if it will enhance your game or if you simply should stick with what you have.
