Guidance for Parents
After the birth of a new life, as you get ready to take your baby home and begin a new phase of life you will be greeted and congratulated by everyone from friends to family. In all this excitement, you might not even pay attention to what all is required to take proper care of your newly born. So, we aim to share some parenting tips for your newborn baby care to help you go through the critical as well as precious moments of your baby care.
Family Support After Baby Birth
You need to build a proper family and friend support before giving birth to your baby. This is important, as you alone will not be able to take care of everything after baby birth. While in hospital, your baby will be taken care of by nurses and doctors but what about when you reach home?
* Arrange for some house help for few days after delivery, as you yourself would not be in a perfect position to handle everything for your baby care.
* You can also hire yourself a baby nurse for a month to help you for sometime after birth.
* If you have many relatives in the same city then an ideal idea would be to call any elder relative like your mother or mother-in-law to help you in newborn care with their own experiences.
Supporting Newborn Baby Guide
Many new parents don’t know the right way of holding their baby. So, here are some basics for providing support to your newborn baby:
* While holding the baby, make sure to give proper support to the baby’s neck and head.
* While playing with the baby, don’t shake him vigorously, as this may harm the baby.
* While taking the baby for a ride in car or pram, make sure to securely fasten him with the car seat.

* Now, lay the baby on the blanket with face upward and his head on the folded corner.
* Then, wrap the left corner of the blanket on the body of the baby and tuck it beneath his back taking it towards his right arm.
* Now, bring the bottom corner of the blanket up over the baby’s feet and stretch it towards the head.
* Finally, wrap the right corner around the baby and tuck it under baby’s back on the left side while leaving the neck and head exposed.
