Unlike other indoor plants, bonsai requires fertilizers. Sprinkle some phostrogen tomato feed or any other special fertilizer recommended for indoor bonsai plants. Applying fertilizers incorrectly can indeed be devastating to the plant. You need to fertilize the plant once a week during summer and once a month during winter. Generally, these plants require water-soluble fertilizers and should be given when soil is wet. Buying low quality fertilizer can be harmful to your indoor bonsai plant.
