Colorful Quilt

To create a funky quilt for your kids, gather old clothes and remove all buttons, zips, loops and belts and keep them separately in a box to use them later. Give this to your kids to cut them into pieces, in what ever shape they like. They will have fun. Mix different colors of clothes together and sew all the pieces together to prepare a crazy colorful quilt with it. Choose one dark color for border.

Dolls dress

Keep small pieces of clothes to make clothing for the dolls of your little princess. Use satin ribbons or laces to decorate them.

Denim Craft

You can turn your old jeans into beautiful pieces of craft work. Not only household items, you can make beautiful fashion accessories also. Make beautiful hand bags or purse with them. Cut them according to the size you need. If you want to make a purse or wallet cut them accordingly and stitch them; use zips and buttons to complete. Lunch Sack

Fabric lunch sack is an easy way to use recycled cloth. You can make it easily and gift it to your father on father’s day. After making it, give it a stylish look so that who so ever carries the lunch in it does it happily. This wonderful craft can be made from any recycled trouser or jeans or any other piece of old cloth. Before cutting the cloth, take the measurement of the lunch box for which you are preparing the sack. To make it, cut the leg portion of the jeans or trouser leaving 5 inches from the bottom. Sew the edges and fold ½ inch from upper edge and sew it. Decorate with beautiful embroidery or colorful thread.

Soft Toys

You can make cute teddy bears, dolls or any other animal soft toy with old clothes. Old towels are especially ideal for this purpose. To make a teddy bear, draw a teddy bear on a piece of paper. Now cut separate portions of clothes keeping the picture you have drawn over it. Now sew them together. Use some small pieces of clothes or pieces of foam and stuff the toy. Use Black marble to make eyes and nose, sticking them with glue. A funny and attractive soft toy is ready for your kid.
