Pet rabbits are excellent companions but they also demand care. Pet rabbits that are kept indoors with proper care are believed to live approximately between 9 and 12 years.   • Choosing An Appropriate Rabbit Cage: A spacious, clean and a lively cage is a sure way to pamper your rabbit. Moreover a spacious and clean cage is necessary to keep one’s pet rabbit healthy.
  • Pet Rabbit Well-Being: one must also ensure that his/her pet rabbit is healthy and this can be ensured by regular visits to veterinarian  and keeping oneself updated on rabbit’s health issues through pet care website  or pet care magazines or community centers. Keeping one’s pet rabbit in sound health is surely the best way to pamper him/her.
  • What Not To Feed Them: Rabbits are usually vulnerable to certain health problems. Rabbits have a sensitive digestive system and easily catch intestinal or infectious diseases. A pet rabbit owner should ensure that their pet rabbits do not eat hairball or synthetic intakes as it will disturb their digestive system. Proper care should be given to the meal of rabbits as they should not be given any hard items.
  • Avoid Rabbits As Pets If You Have Kids At Home: Rabbits are a fragile species that can be harmed even by a sudden loud sound. Kids are unable to maintain their clam when they see rabbit around them and this in turn may harm rabbits or even a kid. Do not leave a kid around a rabbit to pamper him.
  • Avoid Hazardous Toys: One may harm the rabbit if proper care is not given in selecting the toys for this adorable pet. One should attentively choose the toys for his/her pet rabbit in a thoughtful way.
  • Rabbit Proofing: Rabbits’ teeth’s keep growing and in order to control the urge of teething, they go on gnawing on various things. One must not allow this in order to pamper one’s pet rabbit. This is where rabbit proofing comes to help as it is the process of laminating or covering the things around your home to prevent them from being destroyed by rabbits’ gnawing.
