Those who want a holiday full of sun, fun and culture should consider Spain. This Iberian paradise promises not to disappoint. Spain has something for everyone whether you want a beach holiday full of suntan lotion and swimming or a cultural experience you will never forget. Spain has one of the best climates in Western Europe and is one of the most welcoming countries on the continent.

If it is culture that you want that Spain will not let you down. Spain has been home to some of the most talented artists and painters that the world has known. Names such as El Greco, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Diego Velasquez are just a few of the artists that this country has given us. Their works can be viewed around the country in Museums like the Prado and the Churches of Toledo. If you’re an art enthusiast than Spain is definitely a place to see.

If Dance is your thing then a trip to southern Spain might be in order. Here in Seville and Grenada you will experience Flamenco that will make your heart skip a beat. Flamenco is one of Spain’s oldest dances originating from its gypsy and Moorish culture. Flamenco shows are on all over the country but critics say it is best to see it where it originated, in the Andalusia province of southern Spain.

For those that want one of the oldest traditions in Spain, you may want to see a bullfight. Many have aversions to this activity; however it remains one of Spain’s longest and most artistic forms of entertainment. Bull fighting is not for everyone. However, if you’re tempted try to see a show in the national Stadium in Madrid. Only the very best Matadors can perform in this arena because they quite often perform for the royal family. The emphasis is on the art and not the killing of the bull. If this bothers you, you need only blink your eye. This is how long it takes the matador to actually kill the bull.

Finally, something Spain does incredibly well is its festivals. One of the most famous of these festivals takes place in the city of Pamplona. This of course is the running of the bulls. Many tourists end up worse off when they try this feat. However, this festival should be witnessed once by everyone. If he bulls are not your cup of tea, there are festivals all over the country during this week.

Spain has so much to offer tourists. If you’re looking for a cultural holiday that you will never forget then this country should top the list. The art, the dancing and the activities draw tourists by the millions. One has to really see it to believe it.
