However, it is always a better idea to do a full vehicle history check yourself for the car you are eyeing. During the inspection period before the auction, (usually a day or two ahead), you can get the vehicle’s identification number. This you can run through websites like carfax that gives you all history about the vehicle along with information if it had been in accidents and other problems before.
