There is also hiking to the distant ends of the islands, snorkeling which simply make memorable moments full of fun and adventure.

Destinations

It is always best to take a direct flight and avoid switching planes if you can, especially if you are traveling in a large group with kids and elders. You can easily find a lot of planes that fly directly to the airports of Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. These islands are also known for their options in dining and room arrangements which are well taken care of with considerations for everyone and you rest knowing that you would be looked after very well.

Activities

The first thing that should come to mind is to spend a nice quiet relaxing time on the beaches. Trying catching the sunrise and the sunset with the family as it makes a splendid view with a vivid range of colors mixing the skyline against the waters. The sea breeze, the rush of the waves against the sand and the horizon alone can make a poet out of any ordinary man. Check out the white sand beaches of the Luquillo Beach in Puerto Rice or even the challenge presented in the waters and wind of the beaches in Dominican Republic which make for a muse for any surfer. You can always enjoy snorkeling and scoping out Manta Rays in Stingray City in Grand Cayman or even head shopping in St.Martin.

Some of the most family friendly destinations can be found in Aruba, Curacao and Cayman Islands which present the perfect prospects of thrill and adventure. You can also scope out some good water parks for the kids to enjoy.

Room Arrangements

Room and boarding can be looked at in two perspectives namely by resorts and villas. Make the reservations before hand as they seem to be kept busy throughout the year and make sure to budget it all with the rooms, meals and all other accommodation needs. For those who are with children, some of the resorts also provide caretakers to govern the kids while you away for quite a reasonable charge. The Bahamas alone have a lot of water parks which have programs to keep your child occupied for most of the trip.
