The best method to get stocked trout is to provide artificial bait. You will absolutely love collecting artificial bait such as Powerbait, corn,etc. You can provide cheese as well as marshmallows as bait too. 

Remember, what you first need to get is a bottom rig. Then you’ve got to put an egg sinker on the line.

Following this, it is important to tie a small barrel swivel on the line. This may work as a ‘stopper’ for the egg sinker. Let’s assume that you would opt for the Powerbait as it is most recommended for fishing by others. 

So start with a rig that is basic. The next step is simple too. Opt to use a leader that is roughly 12 inches to 3 feet. Make sure that this leader gets tied at the other end of the container swivel. At the leader’s end, a small hook must be tied. Be it size 8 or size 10, the hook must be a small one. It doesn’t take a genius to understand that with the rig that you placed, the egg sinker would find itself at the bottom and the trout would find it.

Don’t hesitate to invest in a set of pre-made gang hooks. This is only if you don’t want to use the leader to tie. Remember that gang hooks are the best way to use the rig. But if you aren’t sure, you could ask around or check on the Internet for advice from experts. 

When you move on to insert dought bait that would be floating in a way that it covers the hook, you can be confident that you are ready for a thrilling fishing expedition.

At this juncture, to make the process smooth, add sufficient dough bait or power bait in such a way that it covers the hook or hooks( if there are gang hooks). There isn’t any doubt about the fact that fishing is a fun filled activity, so you should make the most of it.
