Girls Playing Volleyball
There is a slight difference in the way games are played, when girls play it as compared to the boys playing the game. It is fundamentally distinct and here is an effort to bring that out. So, for girls, the pattern needs to be followed as shown below. Each body part should be so positioned in a manner that it gives best-output and less injuries

Feet: A shoulder’s distance should place the payer’s feet wide apart and they also should be in parallel. Feet also should be at a 90-degree with the net.

Lower Body: The player should place himself in square position and should face the mesh. Knees should be a bit crouched in set position that facilitates the player to side step besides the net, may it be left or right accordingly. She should be at a reachable distance from the net.

Upper Body: Girls with strong upper body should line up in the front row. They should have a considerable height too. This helps the girl, if her hands and elbows are bent and facing the mesh. The hands should be in a range from shoulders to waist and not below it. If this is followed, players can react faster to the moves of opponents. It saves a lot of crucial time.

Eyes: The eyes should always be on the hitter, which players are planning to block. Anticipation is the key here. Now, the vision is needed, as player has to make out by the moves of the opponent. If the hitter is approaching at a particular hitting angle, more likely than not the player needs to hit cross-court in order to line them up exactly in front. Thus the moves can be blocked. But if the approach of striker is straight, it’s expected to be a hit down the line and the body of the player should be squared up to block by extending the arm.

Block Jump: To keep an eye on the hitter is crucial always as this is where the player decides how much time she has to block and schedule her jump accordingly. Once that is done, the rest is simple. The player then needs to line up right or left accordingly and when the time comes, the extension of arms and shoulders will do the trick for her and a block jump it is.

Hands and Arms: A jump when planned should take into consideration that there is a coordination need for arms, hands, shoulders, legs and even the fingers. So, player should make use of their reach by extending their arms and hands to grab the ball or just block.
